To celebrate the beginning of another hellish school year, Veronica Mars cuts the half naked, new kid down from a flag pole. While most kids bond by hanging out at the mall, Veronica Mars and the no longer naked Wallace bond by planting a bong in her arch rival's locker, starting a fake fire in the sheriff department's evidence room, humiliating the local sheriff and forming an uneasy alliance with the local biker gang. Along the way, Veronica Mars photographs Jake with a mystery woman, but doesn't realize that this woman is her missing mother until a few days later. She also discovers her father is still secretly investigating her best friend's murder. Whoa baby and that was just the pilot of Veronica Mars.
