While Veronica tries to get information on her paternity,
she also investigates why an 09er joined a commune. Turns out the "cult" didn't brainwash him at all - they turned him from
a jerk into a nice guy. His parents, however, still had him kidnapped and "deprogrammed." And Veronica shreds the paternity
test before she looks at it, saying that Keith is her father no matter what. Also: Veronica finds out who took pictures of
her to blackmail Lianne. It was Clarence Wiedman, head of security at Kane Software.
